How we help
Start with what is going on
Choose what sounds most like your situation. We will meet you there.
When formal therapy ends, progress usually stops
Insurance authorises a fixed number of visits, and they run out long before you are back to yourself. We pick up from there and keep the progress going — at the pace your body sets, not a billing cycle.
- We read your discharge notes and carry on from them
- Load increases gradually, with someone watching every rep
- Work continues in the rooms where you actually have to move
Your first visit
One hour, without the unknowns
Sixty calm, practical minutes in your home. No test to pass and no obligation to continue.
15 minutes, from minute 0 to 15.
We talk
What happened, what you used to do, what you want back. Any notes from a doctor or therapist, if you have them.
25 minutes, from minute 15 to 40.
We watch you move
Standing up from a chair, walking, stairs, reaching, balance. Nothing strenuous and nothing you have to pass.
20 minutes, from minute 40 to 60.
We walk the house and make a plan
The rooms you use, the spots that worry you. You finish with a written plan and two or three things to start on.

Before we arrive
Have ready
- A sturdy chair and a clear patch of floor
- Whatever clothes you are comfortable moving in
- Any discharge notes or exercise sheets you were given
We bring the equipment. Nothing needs buying.
Questions
Before you call
We cover Greater Lafayette and the towns around it.
- West Lafayette
- Lafayette
- Battle Ground
- Fowler
- Oxford
- Brookston
Is this physical therapy?
No. Physical therapy is short-term, tied to a diagnosis and authorised by an insurer. We work alongside it or after it, on strength, balance and mobility, for as long as it stays useful. If something needs a licensed therapist or a doctor, we will say so.
Do you bill insurance?
No, and that is deliberate. No referral, no authorisation, no cap on visits and no six-week wait. You pay directly and you know the rate before anything starts.
How far do you travel?
Greater Lafayette and the surrounding communities. If your town is not listed here, call and ask — it is often still workable.
What if my parent refuses?
Common, and understandable. The first call is with you, and the first visit is a conversation rather than a workout. Most people relax once they realise nobody is going to make them do anything.
How often would we meet?
[Your usual recommendation — once or twice a week to start, and what it typically settles into.]
